The first TMU Capture the Flag competition (TMUCTF 2021) was held from September 8 to 10, 2021, featuring challenges in cryptography, reverse engineering, web security, network security, digital forensics, and OSINT. Nearly 500 teams from more than 50 countries, including Iran, Italy, Norway, Indonesia, India, Russia, Vietnam, China, Spain, Singapore, Poland, and Australia, participated in the competition. The top ten teams were from Italy, Iran, Norway, Indonesia, India, Russia, and Vietnam. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three Iranian teams to encourage Iranian cybersecurity talent.
